After a long time, my bestfriend Chax and I were able to sing together again! We call ourselves The Late Bloomers. 🙂 Our duo started when Chax asked me to do acoustic versions of Backstreet Boys songs for her project. We sang together and I think the harmony of our voices is good because she has a deep voice while mine is soft. We also have a good chemistry because we just automatically know which parts we’re going to sing.
Anyways, I enjoyed my weekend with her since we got to record two songs which we dedicated to our other bestfriend Dax and her aunt and cousin for their birthday. The next day, we played for our yearly (and only) gig at Hospicio de San Jose which is the oldest welfare institution in the Philippines. We were invited by a friend to sing for the elderly as a part of his birthday celebration. It’s really nice to sing some classic songs for them! 🙂
So, here’s one of the songs we recorded last Saturday. We just tried to sing the stripped down version of Halo by Ane Brun.
Note: This video is mirrored. I’m not left-handed. Hehe.
How was your weekend everyone? Let’s talk. 🙂
