Things You Might Want to Know

My hubby and Me ❤

Hello, beautiful people! I’m Wannie and welcome to my little space on the internet. I’m a twenty-something native Filipina who moved to the United States to be with the love of her life. I originally created this blog to share my thoughts, experiences and music for self-fulfillment. Meeting people from different parts of the world through this blog is something I am grateful for so I want to take this blog to the next level by writing articles that might be helpful to others, too.

Well, here are the things you can expect from my blog…

Tips and pieces of advice for a happy life. Nope, I’m not an expert or a psychologist. Everything that I’ll put here are just based from my personal experiences, my own principles and advice from other people I met or came across with.

Stories of positivity. Life is full of BS! Yeah, bright sides. Here are some true stories of embarrassment, annoyance and sadness all turned into positive. Because life’s too short to focus on the negative.

Music, music, music. I’m in-love with music. Who doesn’t??? I believe that there’s a song written for every emotion and mood that we have. Let me share some songs we can get lessons from or will make us smile. (Warning: Shameless Plug) You can also listen to my song covers and original songs from some of my posts and through my Soundcloud account.

Experiences and tips on LDR. I was in a long distance relationship for five years. We’ve closed the gap last May 2015 and now, we’re happily married. A success story can motivate others, right? (Warning: Shameless Plug Part 2) If you happen to have an LDR blog as well, join our little community at LDR Blogs and put my name as your referrer. 🙂

Fun Stuff. TV, movies, books, travel and all other simple pleasures that can make us smile.

Now, I’ll let you free to explore my blog and hope you stick around. 🙂

Don’t forget to smile.

I created my blog for photodump so i can delete a bunch and free up memory space. Haha. Some appreciated my posts so I started sharing some of my stories. I’m pretty sure yours will be successful in promoting positivity in life too.. 🙂 Cool header btw!

I’ve had the privilege of being nominated for the Liebster award, and in turn I get to nominate a set of blogs – so I’ve decided to nominate you because I like your blog so much! Click the link to find out what you have to do! It’s a little bit of work, but it’s kind of fun too.

Hello Wax! I’m one of the bloggers from JukeboxDivvy. Thanks for visiting our music blog! All of us bloggers are from America so we don’t get to experience the music scene in the Philippines, but once in a while we will post Pinoy music. 🙂

Hey! Your initial purpose is similar to mine. I created my blog with the wrong state of mind, however I ended up going down a different route. Positivity wins everytime!

I always admire your layout! It all works to well.

Hi! I have been ‘trying’ to do the Writing 101 challenge too and am in pretty much the same boat as you. Saw your comment stream on the last post and so I popped over here to check out your blog. Love the background and theme and I think that your world sounds great. I shall follow along for the ride…. as well as trying to get on with those assignments 😉

Hi! Thanks for visiting! Writing 101 assignments were really challenging! I hope we can finish it! Actually, I’ve already cheated twice by merging two challenges into one post. Haha. Will check out your blog! 🙂

Thanks! I ‘cheated’ on the odd one as well. I think I am around number 14 but I have not been able to do them all in order. I am a bit all over the place! 🙂

I try to do it in order so even though I already have ideas for new assignments, I still don’t write them. Hehe. That’s just me. Hey, I’ve checked your blog and saw that you’re an author? You can definitely do Writing 101! :))) I’m just a frustrated writer. I took the course so I can learn something. : 🙂

      • Jade Reyner says:

Yes, I am an author – but I wanted to do the course so that I could get into a good blogging habit. I also find it hard to think of subjects to blog about sometimes. My plan was to give this a go and do it every day.. sadly that hasn’t happened! 🙂

Hi there, I think ‘Wax’ is in no way weird, it’s rockin’ cool! And rumor has it that some of the best rock songs are created by frustrated rockstars (yeah I know, I’m slow  ).

First off let me start by saying I LOVE your blog. I’ve been following you for a while because I love your positive posts and awesome taste in music 🙂
I’ve recently been nominated for a Liebster Award in the blogging community and according to the rules I have to nominate other bloggers as well. I’ve chosen to nominate you because I LOVE your site and everything you write about.
Your nomination is on my blog here!
(I promise this is my blog, not spam!)
Keep up the awesome work, can’t wait to read more posts and see your response!
